Lacey’s Body Drama

There once was a girl who gained a ton of weight when she graduated from college. She weighed 195lbs, a good 40lbs over her recommended body weight.  She hated herself for letting life get so out of control… She hated that when she looked in the mirror she  couldn’t even recognize herself.  She could feel herself beginning to settle into this different person…  A person that never takes responsibility for her own actions.  She was becoming a person who plays the blame game and becomes a victim in her own life.

That girl was me…  And through a lot of internal struggles and some mmmaajjjooooorrrr life coaching I learned some stuff I’d like to share with you. There is always going to be someone to blame, an obstacle, an excuse, a roadblock. If you really want to change your body you MUST stop making excuses.  The alcohol doesn’t just go down your throat, the late night snack doesn’t sneak up on you, the gym opens at 5.30am and closes at 11pm… It takes courage to take responsibility for your life and your actions. But once you can grow up and face the music…. Once you can stop making excuses and start finding solutions.  Not only will your body change but you will find a new sense of empowerment you never thought possible.  You are in control of your life and YOU can have whatever YOU want… All you need to do is get out of your own way.

My body drama is pretty much the same as yours, only I haven’t overcome my problems yet. But I’ve found a great amount of motivation lately, and I really want to make a change, without excuses and with self-control.

You guys are awesome for starting this blog. XD
